Ryker my 4 yr old absolutely loves fire trucks, he can spot the giant red fire engines from a mile away. Most kids get a kick out of the shiny red trucks that seem to glisten in the sunlight and honestly, as an adult they are pretty cool to me too! Knowing his love for fire trucks I decided to have a Fireman Fun Friday (click here for that) and make some color pages for all of my daycare kids.

Ryker wanted a dog, fire station, fire truck, and fireman. Having several girls in my daycare I also wanted to have a firewoman which was a big hit.

So for our Fireman Fun Friday we had role-playing with fireman hats, sprayed flames with spray bottle fire extinguishers, had fireman races, made personal badges and painted with firetrucks. It was a fun-filled day that all of my kids are anxious to repeat.
