Melt the 1/2 cup white chocolate melts in a sauce pan over medium low heat being careful not to burn.
Add in heavy cream and whisk to combine.
Once incorporated add a dash of salt, and the whole milk. Heat to warm but not hot. You don't want to burn your kids.
For the rim of the cup you will need to melt at least 10 white chocolate candy melts in the microwave, stirring every 10 seconds.
Once completely melted dip the rim of your cup into the warm chocolate and then into a bowl of sprinkles.
Let cool then fill with hot chocolate
Top with whip cream, sprinkles and a peppermint.
Serve warm & enjoy
