Easy Afternoon Snack- No Bake Cookies

These cookies are my favorite go-to after school snack. Chocolate No Bake Cookies are loved by kids & adults so make a big batch.

No Bake Cookies

No Bake Cookies are a staple at our house, especially for a quick and easy after school snack for kids. We take them to church, parks, bake sales, and even as payment for my Dad to come fix things at my house.

 

What you will need

  • 1/2 -3/4 c Cocoa (more or less depending on your taste)
  • 1/2  c Milk
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1/4 c Butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 c Quick Oats
  • 1/2 c Peanut Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Wax paper

Melt together butter, sugar, cocoa, and milk. Boil for 1 minute then remove from heat.

 

Add in oats.

Then peanut butter.

And 1 tsp of vanilla, mix well.

 

Scoop a spoonful and drop onto wax paper. Let cool till hardened. Easy after school snack for kids. Chocolate No Bake Cookies are loved by kids & adults so make a big batch. #afterschoolsnack #kidsnacks #nobakecookies

 

No Bake Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2- 3/4 c cocoa powder
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 c quick oats
  • 1/2 c peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, milk, butter, cocoa, & pinch of salt. Stir often over medium heat. Boil for one minute then turn of heat. 

  2. Mix in oats, peanut butter, and vanilla. 
  3. Scoop a spoonful of the cookie mix and drop onto wax paper. 

  4. Store in air tight container for up to a week. Enjoy!
