First things first! Paint all of your wooden things. One set per Spider Wand your making. Let it dry then paint the other side.
Before the topside dries you will need to sprinkle white or orange glitter on top.
Gather your pipe cleaners you will need 2 or 3 for each spider depending on the size legs you want. Bend each leg into a spider like shape making sure to have enough leftover to glue to the back of your orange glittered circle.
Glue like this. I topped it with a smaller circle just to keep the legs together while they dried. It added some much needed stability.
Hot glue your spider web onto your painted popsicle stick. Once set add a little hot glue where you want your spider to go.
Add extra glue to the back of your spider so it doesn’t fly off while being flung around by your kids. 🙂 Let’s say that I speak from experience on that one.
Pick 2 or more eyes and glue them on. I chose a medium size for this example. Some of my kids chose different colors or many different sizes. One kid only chose one BIG eyeball which was pretty amusing.
Looking good, almost done!
Choose some ribbons and tie them on. Lock them into place with a dab of hot glue.
Done! See Super Quick Craft Spider Wand. I told you it was easy! Or I think I did.. humm.
I actually like the spider with the white glitter better than the one with the orange. What do you think?
