To make the bat.
Take an Oreo and separate the top cookie from the bottom, scrap off the cream filling you won’t need it. Each half of this Oreo will be made into one bat wing by cutting each side of the cookie in half.
Using a new Oreo cookie separate the 2 cookies and insert a lollipop stick in the center add a small dab of melted chocolate almond bark to secure the stick in place and put your cookie back together. attach the wings onto one whole Oreo cookie by adding a small dab of melted chocolate to the topside of the cookie placing the wings where you want them and hold till secured. See video.
These two bats were just dipped in warm chocolate then had candy eyes carefully placed on top.
How to make the Spider Oreo
Separate one side of the cookie from the other and attach 8 thin black licorice sticks to the cream filling. If you would like to turn these into a lollipop attach the stick before closing the cookie. For extra security add a dab of melted chocolate.
Dip in melted chocolate and finish with candy eyes.
My youngest son wanted teeth on his spider so he took the top off of 2 candy corns. 🙂
